Always reliable for gear

I've bought from Cotswold Outdoor a few times now, mainly for hiking boots or jackets. This time I got a new pair of waterproof hiking boots, same brand as my last ones which lasted ages. Delivery took about 4 days which was pretty standard. Quality was consistent with my previous orders.

Good value on a new tent

I was looking for a good deal on a 2-man tent and found one here during their summer clearance sale. Got 30% off, which made it cheaper than other places I checked. The free delivery over 50 was a nice bonus too. Felt like I got decent value for my money.

Got my rucksack quick

Needed a new rucksack for a trip so ordered one. It came in 3 days which was faster than I expected. The rucksack was just what I wanted, felt sturdy. No complaints, pretty easy shopping experience.

Hey, thinking of grabbing some hiking boots from Cotswold Outdoor for an upcoming trip. Are their sizes pretty standard or should I size up/down, especially for brands like Gore-Tex?

From my experience with their hiking boots, they tend to be true to size. I got a pair of Salomon ones last year and my usual size fit perfectly, even with thick socks. I'd say just go with your normal shoe size.

It really depends on the brand, man. Gore-Tex itself is just a material, not a fit. I always check the specific product reviews for sizing tips on their site. Sometimes boots can run a little small, especially if you plan on wearing beefy socks. And if you're not sure, their returns are pretty straightforward if you need to swap.
